Star Trek Continues released its 9th episode a few days ago. That just leaves the 2-part finale later this year to close off this fan produced series.
In this episode, Kirk struggles with aiding a society whose inhabitants view their isolated world in a very unique way.
The episode – What Ships Are For – shows again how Vic Mignogna’s production crew and actors create another episode that fits seamlessly with The Original Series. Is this episode’s story about racism and immigration a tad heavy-handed? Absolutely! But then, Star Trek has been known to lay it on with a trowel before when addressing a social issue that should resonate with its audience. 🙂
The episode is elevated too by the guest actors – John de Lancie and Anne Lockhart.
